Who are we?
"We are a collective of students and mental health professionals in Turkey, united by our pursuit of skill development and knowledge enhancement through professional training and consistent academic gatherings. Our commitment extends to organizing social events and activities focused on elevating mental health awareness. Notably, we are dedicated to offering psychological assistance to refugees and Arab communities.
What makes our community unique?
The majority of our members consist of graduates and current students from Turkish universities. Holding Turkish citizenship and being proficient in Turkish, English, and Arabic languages enhances our impact and facilitates communication with host country institutions. Our project is rooted in science while pursuing social and humanitarian objectives. What sets us apart is our dedication to nurturing the abilities of our members, distinguishing us from communities that prioritize output over the growth and empowerment of their members.
What are our goals?
Our immediate objectives revolve around keeping mental health professionals abreast of the latest scientific papers and techniques, fostering a dynamic platform for the exchange of field-related ideas. In parallel, we're committed to social initiatives including awareness lectures, and offering psychological assistance to refugees.
Looking ahead, our long-term vision encompasses the creation of scholarly entities enriched with theoretical and practical proficiency. Central to this vision is the establishment of a globally collaborative academic institution, characterized by its multicenter nature. This institution will spearhead joint research endeavors and cater psychological services to diverse age groups."
Who can join us?
Our community encompasses students and mental health professionals proficient in the Arabic language, residing primarily in Turkey. We do make exceptions for those outside of Turkey, particularly if they possess valuable scientific and practical expertise
